Always Proud to Be a Dragon!

Fairland Family,

While the outcome of the levy is not what I had hoped, I want each of you to know that my commitment to our district and to all of you remains as strong as ever. This district means the world to me, and I will continue to fight for a better future, supporting our students, faculty, staff and community.

The financial forecast we face is challenging and the funding formula will not change. This means we’ll have to continue to accomplish great things with very limited resources, something we have already proven we can do. We will see change over the next few years because of funding, but our resilience and dedication have enabled us to achieve remarkable results, and I am convinced that, together, there is nothing we can’t accomplish for our students.

It may feel as though our community’s support for great schools and exceptional educators has fallen short. I understand the disappointment this brings, and I want you to know that there is nothing I won’t do to lift you up and champion the incredible work you do every day.

Our students deserve the best, and together, we have continually shown resilience, creativity, and dedication, regardless of obstacles. Let's support each other and be committed to finding every possible way to keep moving forward with a positive attittude.

Thank you for your hard work, dedication, and unity. I am, as always, IMMENSELY proud to be a Dragon!

Sincerely,

Roni Hayes
