Senior Information:
- FHS Seniors are permitted 2 college visit days. Parents must notify the office by telephone the day of the college visit. To be EXCUSED, you must turn in the university/college excuse to the office within 3 days of returning to school.

- Scholarships mailed or emailed to the school will be forwarded to seniors via email.

Important Senior Dates
- Homecoming: September 28, 2024 8:00pm-11:00pm
- Graduation Information Order Forms: October 9, 2024 Representative from Herff Jones will be at Collins Career Center to provide information about graduation orders (cap/gown, announcements etc) to students attending CCC. Students may order online or come to Fairland High School on November 4, 2024 from 5:00pm-6:30pm during Parent-Teacher Conferences for students to place orders.
- Graduation Information Order Forms: October 23, 2024 Representative from Herff Jones will be at Fairland High School to provide information about graduation orders (cap/gown, announcements etc) to students attending FHS and return on November 4, 2024 from 5:00pm-6:30pm during Parent-Teacher Conferences for students to place orders.
- Senior Pictures: for the Fairland Yearbook and Senior Composite will be taken on
November 5, 2024 9:00am-1:00pm and November 6, 2024 1:00pm-5:00pm.
Pictures will be taken at no charge to the students in Room 150.
- Senior Salute: Senior Salute applications will be available Monday, November 25, 2024.
- Senior Picture Re-take Day: Senior Picture Re-take day December 12, 2024 Time: 8:00am-9:30am
- Senior Salute: Completed Senior Salute applications are due Thursday, December 19, 2024 by 3:00pm.
- FAFSA: January 8, 2025 Date/Time: FHS Library 6:00pm Jacki Adkins from Ohio University will do a completion workshop with seniors and parents “Financial Aid." FAFSA—Free Application for Federal Student Aid: This is a government form for all types of financial aid including student loans and scholarships. All seniors and parents are encouraged to attend to receive help completing the FAFSA. All students should fill out the FAFSA even if you do not think you will qualify. Go to https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa for more information. (More detailed information will be emailed to seniors prior to the meeting).
- Local Scholarships: Local donors in the community give scholarships to Fairland students only. Applications will be available on March 10, 2025.
- Completed Local Scholarship Applications: Completed Local Scholarship Applications due back to Mrs. Marshall by April 1, 2025 by 3:00pm.
- Prom: May 3, 2025 8:00pm-11:00pm
- Final Transcript Request: Request Final transcript to be sent to college/university of your choice. See Mrs. Marshall the week of May 5th-9th to make a request.
- Cap and Gown Pick Up and Mandatory Senior Meeting: May 9, 2025 @ 2:00 Room 153 (Pick up Caps & Gowns).
- CCC Completion Ceremony: May 15, 2025 Ironton High School (More specific information will be given).
- Seniors Last Day: May 19, 2025. Fees and any obligations must be taken care of by this date.
- Senior Breakfast: May 19, 2025 @ 8:30am
- Mandatory Graduation Practice: May 19, 2025 @ 9:15am
- Class Night: May 20, 2025 @ 6:00pm (more specific information will be given)
- Graduation: May 23, 2025 @ 7:00pm (more specific information will be given)
- CCP College Transcripts: Students who participated in College Credit Plus are responsible for requesting their college transcript from the institution issuing the College Credit Plus credit. FHS cannot request transcripts on behalf of the student.
- Advanced Placement: Students who earned passing scores on Advanced Placement Exams are responsible for requesting their scores from College Board. FHS cannot request scores to be sent on behalf of the student.
