Here are some things you can do at home to help ensure your child's success:

Review any incorrect answers on assignments with your child.

Have your child complete all homework assignments.

Give your child lots of practice counting money and telling time at home - these are usually problem areas for most students in the second grade.

Talk "up" to your child. Use big words and explain what they mean.

Review math facts (addition and subtraction).
