Financial Aid Workshop for Parents and Students
Mrs. Marshall will be hosting Jacki Adkins and Corbin Purdum from Ohio University on Wednesday, December 9, 2015, to conduct a FAFSA workshop for Seniors and parents.  The workshop will take place in room 153 at 6:00 pm at Fairland High School.  We highly encourage all parents and Seniors to attend this great informational meeting.

All students should fill out the FAFSA even if you do not think you qualify.  The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is the government form for all types of financial aid including student loans and scholarships.  Go to https://fafsa.ed.gov/ as soon as possible after January 1, 2016.  Financial aid is awarded on a first come, first serve basis.  You must be prepared for early deadlines as the application process can take 6-8 weeks for completion.  Students and parents will need to apply for a PIN on the FAFSA website to complete the process.
