Update from the Law. County Sheriff's Office

The Lawrence County Sheriff’s office is aware of social media threats circulating in the region.  They are investigating leads as they develop.  There have been NO threats made towards our school district.  One of the threats was specific to another school in our county and another one from Jefferson County Ohio. We are monitoring the situation closely.  If there would be any reason for concern we would notify families via the All Call system.

Update - Social Media Threats

There have been NO threats made towards our school district.  One of the images that started circulating late this afternoon was reported and found to have originated in North Carolina.  An arrest has been made.  We are and will continue to monitor closely.  If there would be any reason for concern we would notify families via the All Call system.

Fairland West Update

We received the certificate of use and occupancy/completion certificate from the Lawrence County Building Department yesterday and have done the final walk-through with the construction company. We are ready to go!!! Looking forward to seeing all of you next week.

Vaccine Clinic Tuesday, July 16th

Lawrence County Health Department is holding an all-day vaccine clinic Tuesday, July 16, 8:30-11:30 a.m., and 1:00-5:30 p.m.  They will be providing mandatory vaccines for kindergarten, 7th, and 12th grade students.  Please bring a copy of your student's current vaccine record and a copy of your insurance card to the clinic.
