News at Our District
Update
With news that a Dallas healthcare worker who contracted the Ebola virus had recently travelled to Northeast Ohio, you may be curious about what efforts are being taken here within our schools, to address the issue.
Fairland High School and State Farm Partner for Safe Driving
Join our School

During National Teen Driver Safety Week, our high school is participating in Celebrate My Drive® and we’d like to invite your support! Fairland High School is participating in the program because teen driver safety is important to us and our school will have a chance to win a $100,000 grant from State Farm®! We could also win one of two hometown concert events by a chart-topping musical artist.

But we need your help.

You can make a safe driving commitment once a day, every day, between October 15 and 24, 2014.The more safe driving commitments we make, the better our school’s chance of winning $100,000 and hosting a concert. It’s simple:

Log onto www.celebratemydrive.com

Indicate you want to support Fairland High School

Commit to drive safely!

You can also invite your friends and family to get involved or share on Facebook —facebook.com/CelebrateMyDrive.

Thanks for your support! Remember, 2N2®: 2 eyes on the road, 2 hands on the wheel.

Band Boosters Fall Fundraiser
The Middle and High School Bands will be starting their Fall Fundraiser on October 13.  They will be selling Pine River Cheese, Summer Sausage and Assorted Candies and Nuts.  The orders will be in in time for the Holidays.  Make sure to place your order with any Band member.
Progress Book Access Has Changed
The biggest change you will see is the way user accounts are handled. Instead of the district creating and mailing account information to the user, users will be issued a registration key.  You should receive a letter from your child's school in the next couple of days. The user will use the registration key to create a username/password for their account. Users will have full control over their account and you will no longer be responsible for usernames or lost/forgotten passwords.
"Dragon's Breath"
Fairland High School presents the school newspaper, Dragon's Breath.  You will be able to keep updated on Fairland sports, entertainment, student section events, and community issues.  We are currently in the building process, we ask you to check back frequently to check our progress.
