Welcome back! I want to extend my warmest greetings and express my sincere excitement for the coming year. I want to thank you for your continued support of our district. We are very proud of the work we do and we believe that educating our children is one of the most important jobs in the world and we take it very seriously.
As you enter the classrooms you will notice that we have nearly completed the installation of new flat panel interactive devices in each classroom. We have upgraded our security camera systems to include new DVRs and additional cameras at each school and you will also notice that we have three new buses on the road this year.
We have some other things that will be coming soon: a new playground at Fairland East Elementary School is under construction and the Fairland Local School District App. for your smart device. The app is in development and will be rolled out early this fall. The app will offer many features to help us communicate with our students and their families. We think you will find it to be very user friendly and it’s easily customizable to suit your needs.
We are very excited to welcome 10 new superstar employees to our district family this school year. They are joining a wonderful team. A team that is committed to doing everything within our means to educate our students in a kind, caring and safe environment.
