Due to me providing work on Election Day, Good Friday, and
Spring Break these are the only assignments left for this school year. If you do not have access to email,
then write on paper and turn in May 18th. If you have access to email or remind then send me these
assignments as you complete them before May 18th.
Day 34: Choose an adjective to describe our essential workers. Design it on a sheet of paper. If possible email or using the remind app send me a picture of yourself holding your sign at your “desk”…I miss your faces and smiles!! J
Day 35: Email me a journal entry of one day of your “at home” learning experience.
Day 36: Email me a paragraph of your greatest memory of this
school year before the day of March 13th when our in-person year
came to an end. L

Week 4-Complete the citing textual evidence, making inferences, support inferences, implicit/explicit, and multiple pieces of evidence lessons in the packet.
Week 5- Complete the context clues, cause/effect, compare/contrast, details in a text in the packet
Week 6- Language choices, similes/metaphors, and connotation lessons in the packet.
Week 7-Final Informational Text Exam. Annotate while reading before answering the questions.

sent home on March 13, 2020 with the following assignments. These are due April 6th or 7th. Scheduled drop off of existing packets and pick up of new packets is in front of the middle school April 6th from 8-12 and 2-6 then April 7th 8-12.
Day 1: Read and annotate the passages for stimulus questions
13-20 on the Dust Bowl.
Day 2: Answer questions 13-19 and mark in the passage where
the answers can be found.
Day 3: Make an outline for the question 20 essay including a
hook, thesis in the introduction, a central idea for each body paragraph with
sound reasoning, and a conclusion paragraph.
Day 4: Write the essay for question 20. Be sure to follow
the rubric guidelines.
Day 5: Revise and edit essay. Write a final copy. You will
turn in both the rough draft and final copy.
Days 6-10: Using the rubric score the 5 different sample responses.
Days 11-15 Complete the assignments on mobymax.com and readtheory.org. Check your google email for mobymax or readtheory assignments.
